A satirical socio-comic play where Prankeshto distorts Tagore’s Dui Bigha Jomi to justify exploitation. By portraying the peasant as guilty and the zamindar as noble, the play exposes how power manipulates truth and silences resistance in society.
Antigone (19th Dec,2025)
A modern tragedy showing the clash between personal conscience and state authority. Antigone defies King Creon’s unjust law to uphold moral truth, sacrificing her life. The play condemns authoritarian power and highlights the cost of ethical resistance.
Jokhon Esechhile (20th Dec,2025)
Set against the symbolism of Raas Purnima, the play explores loneliness, dreams, fleeting love, and emotional longing in a Bengali society. The moonlit night becomes a metaphor for illusion, fragile hope, and unfulfilled love rooted in cultural tradition.
